BetMGM: What you should know — and which alternatives are worth it
Your BetMGM app is up on your phone, and a welcome bonus offer is open in another tab. On top of that, there are three other casino websites that all have a very similar feel about them: slightly different colours, similar games and much the same wording in the T&Cs. Are there options? Or perhaps, options in disguise? The same operator offering the same service but via a different portal/brand.
You have spent sufficient money (£10) and now wish to know whether you will receive anything different this time round. That's the best way to start comparing BetMGM sister sites. Although LeoVegas, BetUK, Pink Casino, Slot Boss and 21.co.uk form part of BetMGM's larger UK brand portfolio of individual gambling brands, sharing the same parent entity, it does not necessarily follow that they will operate similar products or services for their respective customer bases.
Kayleigh "Kaz" Bramley has been comparing UK bingo and casino brands since 2013, keeping a notes app of payout times and verification snags. Her practical checks — not star ratings alone — shape the comparisons below.
This article aims to identify where these five brands fall within the umbrella of the same parent and how they differ from one another. It will also highlight the terms and conditions relevant to the promotion of headline-grabbing marketing and where such marketing may be misleading. We have confirmed the ownership and licensing of the companies using data obtained directly from BetMGM's own website (footer & terms) and from the publicly available database of the UK Gambling Commission on 8 October 2026. Please note: our test is a non-withdrawal test and the terms, games, banking methods and offers available on each site may change at any time. Therefore, we highly suggest checking the information before funding an account.
Check Which Brands Are BetMGM Sister Sites: Ownership, UK Licensing and New Launches

How important is it to know who owns your online gambling operator? Knowing who owns your operator is crucial to knowing who to contact in the event of an issue withdrawing funds or having a question regarding restrictions placed on your account.
Just because a name looks familiar to you isn't enough. You need to find out who legally runs the show.
MGM Resorts International acquired the LeoVegas Group in 2022. BetMGM.co.uk is operated by LeoVegas Gaming PLC, a Malta-based company licensed and regulated in Great Britain by the Gambling Commission under account number 39198. BetMGM's own footer and terms state this too, and BetMGM's help centre states that Entain does not operate the UK website.
When we searched the public register for that account, we found that its Casino Remote licence has been active since 1 November 2014, with betting and bingo permissions granted after that (checked on 8 October 2026). The active domains registered under the account are betmgm.co.uk, leovegas.co.uk, betuk.com, pinkcasino.co.uk, slotboss.co.uk and 21.co.uk, which means that LeoVegas, BetUK, Pink Casino, Slot Boss and 21.co.uk are indeed BetMGM's genuine sister sites.
Older bingo domains such as bingos.co.uk and bingoloopy.com currently appear as inactive and therefore can't be considered current BetMGM sister sites.
Licence details can change at short notice. For this reason, please always independently verify licence status prior to funding a deposit:
- Check the footers of each of your selected operators and confirm who has issued the licence for that particular operator along with the licence number.
- Go to the UK Gambling Commission public register and input that number into the search box.
- Verify that the domain name linked to the actual website is registered and all necessary permissions remain current.
- Review the terms and conditions to determine which company is entering into a contract with you.
A parent company, a licensed operator and a software supplier are not one and the same. Simply because two online casinos both use a single game provider does not automatically make them "sister" sites. And separate branding doesn't always equate to separate legal entities.
Keep UK BetMGM distinct from its US operations. Licensing in each state in America is entirely irrelevant to your UK account.
If you see a press release announcing a new sister site launching, do not solely rely on the press release or logos appearing on comparative webpages to verify that a domain is authorised to accept deposits from you.
This comparison is for adults aged 18+, using only UKGC-licensed sites. Take time to think. If gambling feels hard to control then stop now and seek help through BeGambleAware and GamCare.
Compare LeoVegas, BetUK, Pink Casino, Slot Boss and 21.co.uk in One Table
If you're interested in sites like BetMGM, think about what you would ultimately like to use the site for. Otherwise, you may choose a sports-heavy site because of its free spins and ignore the casino layout you'll have to look at every time you go back.
The table below gives you a shortlist of brands to compare based on broad brand positioning, instead of unverified game totals and limited-time promotional offers.
| Brand | Why compare it | What to look for first | Biggest caution |
|---|---|---|---|
| LeoVegas | Huge range of casino options and a mobile-friendly user experience | Mobile navigation, live casino filters and game search | A large amount of choice can mean more scrolling rather than more value |
| BetUK | Sports betting combined with an online casino | The markets you prefer, how easy the bet slip is to use and access to the casino | Sports promotions are no good if you only play slots |
| Pink Casino | Alternative casino option with a distinctive look | Current slots, Slingo offering and any promoted bingo product | Don't assume Slingo means multiplayer bingo sessions |
| Slot Boss | Slot-led browsing | Sorting by provider, saving favourite games and clear game details | Check any non-slot features before assuming they exist |
| 21.co.uk | Casino and live-dealer comparison | Table limits, opening hours and live dealer game selection | More tables don't necessarily mean lower minimum stakes |
Your first step in seeking alternative casino experiences would likely be to look at LeoVegas while your first stop for sports betting would most likely be BetUK. I made this recommendation purely on product fit alone, and was not implying that either site would pay out faster or offer you better winning odds.
Ultimately, it is up to you to decide which one provides you with a better overall user experience of the lobby. If your desired games, stake levels or tools aren't there, the brand name can't compensate for a lacklustre experience. You don't need accounts at all five sites to discover that.
If you would rather step outside this network altogether, BravoPlay is my top pick right now as a separate UKGC-licensed comparison point — run the same footer, licence and terms checks on it before you sign up.
Match Games, Providers and Mobile Features to Your Preferences
Two thousand games may look impressive, but they're still irrelevant if the one game you enjoy is missing from the site, or is a bit of a faff to locate with the mobile search.
Identify three preferences specific to you: possibly Rainbow Riches, Fluffy Favourites and a low-stakes live roulette table. Try searching each potential site for these games via public lobby access where possible, before creating an account. The names used here were only examples of operators designed to aid you in locating these sites amongst this group of sites; they are no guarantee of finding these sites across this group of sites.
Many websites related to each other use the same suppliers. While a supplier is common among related sites, it does not necessarily mean that related sites will have identically titled versions, features, return-to-player percentages etc. Examine each title individually including RTP - RTP represents a theoretical long term average return for your gaming session and is in no way indicative of your potential next win.
Testing mobile usability in real-world usage:
- Do you need to constantly scroll through endless screens to locate a specific game that you know exists?
- Is it easy to access your account balance, request withdrawals from your account, set withdrawals restrictions on your account and review withdrawal limits on your account?
- Does the mobile version work properly on your phone?
- Are the rules readable, and can you dismiss promotional pop-ups easily?
There is no assurance that utilising an app will provide a more efficient user experience than browsing to the site on your computer/mobile device. Only download apps from an official source, and check whether the app works differently from the website.
When assessing live casino options focus on the minimum bet amount and number of active tables available versus just focusing on the number of dealer images displayed.
When examining bingo options verify whether there are regularly scheduled bingo sessions - Slingo offers slot-styled gameplay featuring a bingo styled grid however it is not equivalent to participating in a traditional social 90-ball bingo session.
If BetMGM has exclusive titles listed within their game offerings then check for them. There are many branded games such as "New York New York" and "Bellagio Diamonds", but also live table dealers from the Bellagio and MGM Grand. However, MGM-branded artwork alone doesn't confirm that you're getting an exclusive game, or that the game has different mechanics from the version on a sister site.
Compare Payment Methods, Withdrawal Times and Verification Requirements
It is primarily due to the withdrawal process that makes all other differences in terms of payment methods. Simply because an immediate deposit was made, does not mean that you will be able to get your money out just as fast.
Each website should have an area in either the cashier or payment areas where they clearly list what types of credit/debit cards, e-wallets, and/or bank account options they support. Do not assume that simply because a competitor's site (owned by the same parent) accepts PayPal, Apple Pay, etc., that this site would accept those withdrawal methods. This can depend on your account and deposit method.
Break the withdrawal procedure down into three components: the operator's approval time, any outstanding checks, and the payment provider's delivery time. "Processed within 24 hours" may refer only to the first component. Also make sure you understand whether quoted times mean working days, and whether any minimum withdrawal amounts or fees apply.
UK-licensed operators must verify players' identity before letting them gamble; however, further checks may still happen later. You may be asked for documents proving ownership of your payment account, your address or your source of funds. If an operator needs additional information from you prior to requesting you withdraw money then they can ask for it at the time rather than waiting for the withdrawal request.
Follow this preparation plan:
- Register with accurate and consistent information when registering with an operator, including your ID and your account information.
- Make sure you've completed all the necessary verification steps in the operator's secure area.
- Before making your first deposit, view and review the payout and returns policy for any potential withdrawal.
- Keep confirmation emails and a dated record of all requests made.
Never send sensitive documents to an email address supplied in an unsolicited message. And under no circumstances should you deposit more in order to "release" a pending withdrawal.
There are no independently timed payouts behind these comparisons, so no single brand can be named as having the quickest withdrawals. Even though multiple brands are part of the same group, this doesn't necessarily mean that there is a combined wallet. Check how the brands handle deposits and withdrawals.
Read Bonus Terms, Wagering Requirements and Loyalty Restrictions Before Joining
A bonus can only be compared once you clearly understand what must happen before its value becomes withdrawable cash. The conditions don't explain themselves; the limitations are what cause the problem.
For UK-licensed bonus offers, Gambling Commission changes effective 19 January 2026 limit bonus wagering requirements to no more than 10 times and ban mixed-product incentives that combine different gambling categories, such as casino and betting. If a comparison page still advertises a current UK offer with 35× or 40× wagering, check the date of those terms and the operator's actual terms.
On 8 October 2026, BetMGM's casino welcome offer gave new customers 200 free spins on Big Bass Splash, each valued at 10p, after depositing £10 and wagering £10 once on casino games within 7 days of opening their account. Winnings from the free spins have no wagering requirements, and the spins expire three days after being credited. Slots contribute 100% towards the £10 wager, table games 10% and live casino games 0%. The separate sports offer gives 4 × £10 free bets after a £10 qualifying bet at odds of evens or greater. You choose one offer or the other (18+, T&Cs apply).
The cap doesn't make every offer good value, so you still need to find out:
- The calculation base: what amount is multiplied?
- Game contribution: which eligible games qualify, and by how much?
- Expiry: how long do you have before the offer expires?
- Stake restrictions: what is the maximum stake allowed during bonus play?
- Withdrawal conditions: are winnings capped, or will you lose the bonus if you withdraw?
To illustrate: if you were given a £10 bonus with 10× wagering on the bonus alone, you would need to place £100 in qualifying stakes. It refers to the minimum amount of money a player must bet in order to fulfil wagering requirements, not a £100 deposit, and certainly not the rest of your original deposit once you have fulfilled wagering requirements. Don't ever increase your budget simply to meet a wagering requirement.
Similarly, "no wagering" deserves equal attention: eligible games, spin values, expiry and withdrawal restrictions may still apply.
Also, don't assume that because sites share a common owner, each one owes you a welcome bonus. Group-wide, household and previous-customer exclusions may apply across brands. Separate brands don't automatically mean separate eligibility.
Lastly, don't carry over expectations from MGM Rewards in the US into your UK account. Verify any hotel redemption or cross-brand loyalty claim in the UK programme's terms.

Assess Testing Evidence, User Reviews, Common Complaints and Missing Features
Why does evidence matter? Because "tested by experts" can mean anything from a comprehensive test of the payment process to someone just looking at a home page. You should know which.
This guide uses BetMGM's own footer, terms and help centre, the Gambling Commission public register (checked 8 October 2026) and standard UK regulatory requirements. It doesn't claim new registrations, deposits, customer support conversations or withdrawals. Account-specific features and payout speeds must be confirmed individually; this guide won't fill those gaps with fabricated payout diary entries.
When reviewing other comparisons, look for dated screenshots, the payment method used for testing, verification status, and a clear distinction between advertised claims and actual processing times. One quick withdrawal may prove to be a good example, but it does not ensure that the next withdrawal will occur in a timely manner.
Be cautious when reviewing user comments. Any documented repeated complaints about delayed payouts, asking for identification documents, bonus disputes, and access to customer service should be categorised as a red flag and investigated further. Don't assume that all brands listed in this guide are currently experiencing the above mentioned problems.
A timeline of events is far more helpful than calling a brand either "a great site" or "an absolute scam". Look at the operator's response too: does it explain the process involved, or simply direct the reviewer elsewhere?
Investigate past regulatory actions taken against an operator by researching their name on the Gambling Commission's official website. Check the date, the nature of any failings and the action taken afterwards before forming an opinion based solely on past penalties.
Verify any of the usual underreported characteristics of an operator, such as phone support, mobile apps, bingo rooms, etc., will help identify the differences between brands. While the lack of a testing laboratory logo does not imply that games are untested, due to the requirement of remote gambling in the United Kingdom to undergo technical testing. The presence of a padlock icon indicates that a site uses an encrypted connection to ensure privacy and security; however, it does not confirm either that bonus terms are equitable or that the site operates reliably.
Check Spending Limits, Self-Exclusion Coverage and Complaint Routes
Shared ownership is critical when you're trying to limit your gambling rather than increase it. Creating another account shouldn't let you get around a restriction you placed voluntarily.
Before making a deposit, locate the available financial-limit controls and find out exactly what they control. Deposit, loss and wagering limits aren't interchangeable. Set an affordable entertainment budget that applies across all your gambling accounts. Five separate site limits could add up to more than you had intended.
Look for time-outs, reality checks and session controls. Find out if the limitation applies to only one brand or across the whole operator network. Ask for written clarification from the customer support department if there is any ambiguity in wording.
Closing an account is different from excluding yourself from participating in any type of licensed online gambling operator in Great Britain. To exclude yourself from accessing all licensed online gambling operators in Great Britain go to GAMSTOP and follow their most recent guidelines on registering for exclusion. Do not attempt to open an account with a sister brand in order to evade a self-exclusion order. Call GamCare for confidential support without having to reach a crisis point.
If something goes wrong use the operator's formal complaint process. Keep records of all communications pertaining to case reference #s and date(s). After eight weeks (or sooner after receiving a final response), you can then submit your dispute to the operator-designated Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) provider whose jurisdiction and submission processes you must investigate before doing so.
The Gambling Commission will accept complaints of breach of regulations but generally does not act on behalf of individuals contesting specific payment amounts individually.
This comparison is intended only for adults aged 18+ who are choosing only UKGC-licensed sites. Online gambling should never be viewed as a means of generating income. Take Time to Think, and if your previously established limits no longer appear sufficient enough for you to proceed with your selected brand, discontinue participation instead of switching brands.
Sportsbook Sister Sites: Which Betting Site Suits Sports Bettors?
Most comparisons focus on slots and live tables, but many UK players also want a sports bet now and then. On the LeoVegas Gaming PLC licence, three brands run a full sports betting section, as the comparison table above shows. The other brands on the list above have no sportsbook, so they are no help if you want to bet on football or the races.
When you compare a betting site, look at the range of sports betting markets first. Football, tennis, racing and basketball are standard, but the depth of markets differs: some books offer dozens of player bets on a Premier League game, others only the main lines. In-play betting, cash out and a bet builder are now expected on any online betting site, so check that they work smoothly in the mobile app as well as on desktop.
For racing fans, check whether the site offers best odds guaranteed on UK and Irish races, and on which terms. It is one of the most useful features for regular horse racing bettors, and it is not offered by every bookmaker.
Free bet offers for new customers
The sports welcome offer at most UK bookmakers is a free bet: you place a qualifying bet, often bet £10, and get free bets in return once it settles. Read the terms before you sign up. Check the minimum odds for the qualifying bet, which markets the free bet can be used on and how long it stays valid. Winnings from a free bet usually do not include the stake.
Remember that each brand on the licence has its own welcome offer, and some offers exclude new customer accounts if you already have one with another brand in the group. Ask support before you register if you are unsure about bonus eligibility.
Responsible Gambling and Payout Checks for Sports Bettors
Responsible gambling tools work the same way on the sportsbook as everywhere else on the site. Set deposit limits before your first sports bet, use reality checks during long in-play sessions and take a break if betting stops being fun. Payout times depend on the method: e-wallets are usually fastest, debit cards can take a few working days, and the first payout may need ID checks.
Sites Like This One Outside the LeoVegas Group
If you want a betting site with a different owner, the big UK names are the obvious choice. bet365, William Hill and Paddy Power all combine a large sportsbook with slots and live games. They are not sister sites, as each one holds its own licence, but they cover the same mix of sports betting and gaming, so they are a fair comparison for UK players.
Conclusion: Weigh the Differences Before Choosing a BetMGM Sister Site
Depending on how you use the brands, which BetMGM alternative you choose will depend largely on what alternatives appeal to you. Compare LeoVegas for more varieties of casino games than BetMGM, compare BetUK for a better sportsbook experience or compare other brands that offer experiences closer to what you want.
When considering whether or not to join an operator, make certain that their legitimate domain name is licensed by the UKGC, evaluate their withdrawal policy, and thoroughly review all promotional terms. Simply because two brands are owned by the same parent company does not automatically guarantee that they will offer similar experiences, qualify for bonuses or pay out equally as fast.
Fund your entire gaming budget as one single budget regardless of how many separate accounts you may have. You can choose to believe that none of these sites offer a material advantage over BetMGM.
